SEO Cost in Singapore: What Drives the Price, and What's Included at Each Level
What SEO costs in Singapore depends almost entirely on where a site is starting from. Every business landing on this page has a different site, a different amount of work already done, and a different set of markets or languages to cover. A single price list would either be wrong for most readers or vague enough to be useless.
So this page does two things instead. It sets out what moves the number, and it describes the three levels our SEO packages are built around, by what's included at each one.
Nothing below is a final quote. It's the structure we quote from, so you know roughly where a conversation will land before you have it.
What moves the price
Four things account for most of the difference between one quote and another.
Site size and current condition
A small site that is already technically sound costs less to work on than a large one carrying years of accumulated problems. Page count matters, but the state of those pages matters more: duplicated pages competing for the same term, a thin or missing internal link structure, slow templates, indexing problems keeping good pages out of search results altogether. Each of those has to be understood before scope can be set, because they change how much groundwork sits underneath everything else. Two sites with the same page count can land at very different points on the range for this reason alone.
How much needs fixing before new work starts
Repairing an existing site is a different scope from building on a clean base. Where a site has been worked on before, some of that work helps and some has to be undone, and telling the two apart takes time. A site that has never been properly audited usually needs more scoped into its first phase than one with a recent, clean technical foundation, since fixing what's broken has to happen before new work sits on top of it reliably. This is a large part of why an audit comes first at every level.
How many services run together
Running several services together changes the shape of a quote as well as the total. A combined engagement shares its research and technical foundation across everything sitting on top of it, so the price comes in below each service's standalone price added together. One keyword research pass supports content marketing, local SEO and AI SEO at the same time. One technical audit serves all of them. That saving is real, and it's the main reason a broader engagement often works out better value per service than adding services one at a time.
How many markets and languages
Businesses selling or communicating in more than one market or language carry work that single-market businesses don't. Multilingual SEO adds per-language keyword research, translated on-page optimisation and hreflang handling. International SEO adds country targeting and site structure decisions on top of that. Both are scoped per market or per language, so the cost moves with how many you're covering, and both sit on top of whichever level applies instead of replacing it.
How a quote gets scoped
The starting point is the same at every level: a proper look at what's live today, so the quote is built around the real site.
From there the plan is scoped to what the site needs. The tier name tells you roughly what's included; the audit and the scoping conversation determine what it costs for your site. That's the difference between a quote and a price list.
Once a plan is agreed, the work runs against it, and progress is reviewed on a set schedule. If scope needs to shift partway through, that gets discussed before it happens, never billed after the fact.
Compare SEO packages: three engagement levels
Three levels, each one a starting point that scope moves up or down from based on your site.
Starter
For a business with one clear problem to fix, before a full engagement makes sense.
- An SEO audit, so the plan is based on what's happening on the site today.
- One core service scoped to the problem it's solving, usually local SEO or AI SEO, whichever matches where the business needs to show up.
- A written plan for what comes next, whether that's staying at this level or expanding later.
Starter suits a business that already knows roughly what's wrong, or one that wants to see how the work runs before committing further. It's a complete piece of work in its own right, and it gives both sides real information about the site before anything larger is scoped.
Growth
For a business ready to run its core SEO as one connected system.
- Local SEO and AI SEO together, covering being found on a map and being found inside an AI-generated answer.
- Content marketing, to earn the rankings the technical and local work make possible.
- Off-page SEO, to build the authority signals that back the rest of it up.
- Regular review against what was agreed at the start, on a set schedule.
Growth is where the shared-foundation saving starts to matter. One research pass and one technical base support four services at once, and the services reinforce each other: content gives the local and AI work something to rank, and off-page authority raises what all of it can reach. Scoping them together also keeps the plan for one service consistent with the plan for another.
Business
For a business selling or communicating in more than one country or language.
- Everything in Growth, run as one engagement.
- Multilingual SEO, international SEO, or both, depending on whether the business differs by language, by market, or both.
- Per-market and per-language research, so each market is scoped on its own evidence.
- One team across all of it, so the plan for one market stays consistent with the rest.
Business is the level scoped for multi-market work from the outset. The per-market research is the substantive difference: search behaviour, competition and language use vary enough between markets that one set of assumptions applied everywhere produces weak results in most of them.
Outside the three tiers
Two services are priced on their own as well as forming part of a tier. An SEO audit works as a standalone piece of work and as the entry point into Starter, and a foundational audit is free. SEO consulting is priced separately, since it's advice and a roadmap in place of ongoing execution, for businesses that want direction while keeping the work in-house.
Single service or combined engagement
Not every business needs a tier. A single service scoped to one specific problem is the smallest commitment available, and a legitimate way to work with us on its own. A combined engagement across several services is scoped and quoted as one piece of work, since the research and technical foundation underneath are shared across whatever sits on top of them. If you're unsure which shape fits, the audit usually answers it.
What to expect on timing
SEO cost and SEO timelines are connected, so it's worth being clear about the second before committing to the first. Technical fixes can change how a site is crawled fairly quickly. Content and authority work take longer, because they depend on pages being published, indexed, and then earning their position against everything already ranking. A quote covering several months of work is priced against that arc, and the review schedule exists so progress stays visible along the way. We'd rather set that expectation while quoting than have it come as a surprise later.
No guaranteed rankings
None of these levels come with a guaranteed ranking or a guaranteed amount of traffic, because no provider controls how a search engine or an AI tool ranks a page. What a quote reflects is the work involved and how it's scoped. Any agency pricing against a promised position is charging you for something it cannot deliver.
For Singapore SMEs, SEO work across any of these levels can potentially be offset through the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG), a Singapore government scheme supporting SME digital adoption. Ask us for the current eligibility criteria and we'll walk you through what applies to your business.
