Parents choosing an enrichment centre in Singapore rarely search the generic category term first. They search by subject, age group, and specific outcome: a public speaking programme for a shy nine-year-old, a creative writing class ahead of the PSLE composition component, a STEM programme that isn’t just “coding for kids” repackaged. The centres that win these searches are the ones with pages built around a specific subject and age band, not a single “our programmes” page listing everything on offer. The category term itself splits awkwardly between “enrichment centre”, the commercial, shopping-intent version of the search, and “enrichment classes”, a nearly identical real search with slightly more volume, and a page that only targets one of the two leaves visibility on the table.
The newer complication is AI-answer visibility. When a parent asks ChatGPT “what’s a good public speaking enrichment programme for a primary school kid in Singapore” or gets a Google AI Overview comparing enrichment options, the answer is pulled from a page that clearly states the subject, age range, and format of a programme, not from a centre’s generic homepage. This client ran a single-outlet centre with a loyal parent base built on word of mouth, but the website described the centre in general terms, “holistic enrichment for young minds”, without naming a single subject, age band, or class format anywhere a search engine or an AI tool could parse it.

We audited the existing site, enrolment enquiry flow, and Google Business Profile, checking page speed, mobile usability, schema presence, and whether individual programmes were described anywhere in enough detail to rank or be cited. We pulled real Singapore parent-search data covering both “enrichment centre” and “enrichment classes” phrasing, plus subject- and age-specific variants, since the centre had never targeted either precisely.
The category term is genuinely split between two close variants, so the audit’s first job was confirming both were worth building for rather than picking one and losing the other’s volume.
We mapped subject-specific and age-band-specific searches, public speaking, creative writing, STEM, by age group, against dedicated pages, most of which needed to be built from scratch, and made sure the “centre” and “classes” phrasing both appeared naturally across the site rather than only on one page.
Parents comparing options want to know quickly whether a programme suits their child’s age and specific need, so the map prioritised specificity over a single catch-all programmes page.
We built out subject-specific programme pages describing format, age range, and typical outcomes, fixed page speed and mobile issues on the enquiry form, and added structured data for the business listing and course offerings.
Enrolment decisions are often made jointly by both parents after comparing two or three centres, so the pages needed to give both format and outcome detail, not just a class schedule.
We added structured, source-worthy detail an AI answer engine can pull from directly: programme comparisons by age and subject, and FAQ-style content answering the exact questions parents ask conversational tools about choosing an enrichment programme, plus schema markup to support it.
AI Overviews and chat answers favour a clear statement of subject, age range, and format over vague “nurturing young minds” copy, so this phase gave the centre a genuine shot at being cited when a parent asks an AI tool to compare options.
Over the final two months we reviewed which programme pages were ranking and being cited, then tightened weaker pages against a locked content and quality standard rather than adding more subject pages for volume’s sake.
For a single-outlet centre, a smaller set of precise, genuinely informative programme pages consistently outperforms a larger number of generic ones competing against multi-branch chains.

| Period | Focus | What Happened |
|---|---|---|
| Months 1–2 | Audit and keyword mapping | Technical and content audit completed, real Singapore parent-search data pulled across both “centre” and “classes” phrasing, keyword-to-page map drafted around subject and age band. |
| Months 2–4 | Content and technical execution, AI-answer visibility | Subject-specific programme pages built, enquiry-form speed fixed, schema added, structured comparison and FAQ content published, AI-answer citations landed across four tracked queries. |
| Months 5–6 | Refinement | Weaker pages tightened against the locked content standard, trial lesson bookings and enquiries continued climbing as the strongest programme pages matured. |
If you run an enrichment centre in Singapore, a single “our programmes” page loses to a competitor with a dedicated page for each subject and age band. Parents search by specific need, not by category, and your pages should match that.
When your category term genuinely splits between two close phrasings, here “enrichment centre” and “enrichment classes”, building for only one leaves real search volume unclaimed. Check both before locking a primary keyword.
AI-answer visibility rewards a clear statement of subject, age range, and format. Vague “nurturing young minds” copy doesn’t get cited when a parent asks an AI tool to compare programmes; a specific, well-structured answer does.
Our free SEO audit for education and enrichment businesses covers your Google Business Profile setup, site technical health, and how visible your programmes are in both classic search and AI-generated answers.
